Warranty & Reupholstery

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All of our yacht and boat upholstery work targeting vessels not used commercially carry a free 3 month warranty.

How do I get started?

You can call, email, or connect with us via the Contact Us button on our home page. Please provide photos of your boat upholstery, a description of what you want upholstered, and your boat location.

Can you reupholster singular boat seats?

In many cases, we can work on individual seats or cushions as well as full boat upholstery projects.

Do you upholster commercial vessels?

Yes, we provide boat upholstery services for commercial boats, but our work will not carry a warranty due to the constant wear and tear that commercial boats experience.

Should I order Boat Seat Reupholstery or buy new boat seats?

In most cases, boat seat reupholstery is the better choice because it allows you to keep the original fit and structure of your seats while completely refreshing their appearance. Instead of being limited to whatever colors and styles are available from replacement seat manufacturers, reupholstery lets you choose the exact marine vinyl color and texture you want.

Reupholstery is especially valuable when your seats already fit your boat properly, because replacing them with generic new seats can create problems with size, mounting, layout, and appearance. During the reupholstery process, you can restore the original design or upgrade it with a completely different style while keeping the seat base, shape, and fit that were made for your boat.

What types of reupholstery services do you offer?

We offer boat seat reupholstery, cushion replacement, bolster upholstery, foam replacement, vinyl replacement, custom stitching, custom pleating, and other marine upholstery services.

What types of boats do you upholster?

We work on many types of boats, including center consoles, pontoons, deck boats, fishing boats, cruisers, yachts, and more.

Do you only provide boat upholstery services, or do you work on yachts too?

We provide upholstery services for both boats and yachts, including standard marine seating, custom cushions, bolsters, and luxury interior work.

Our Boat Upholstery Process

How long does a boat upholstery project take?

The length of a boat upholstery job is divided into three parts: Availability of materials, Possible disassembly/reassembly, and labor.

Material Availability: Our vendors keep an abundant stock of all types of marine vinyl and fabric, meaning in most cases we will not need to wait on materials to restock or deliver. If the materials are in stock, it takes about 1 to 1hr 30mins to get the materials.

Disassembly/Reassembly: Not all upholstery requires this step, only those which are stapled onto wooden boards. Typically takes 1hr to 1hr 30 mins to both disassemble and reassemble.

Labor: Reupholstery typically takes up to four hours based on the size of the cushion requiring reupholstery. Custom and Luxury Upholstery may take significantly longer, as they require manual installation of pleating, piping, and developing a customized design. However, buying already pleated vinyl may speed this process up excessively, saving days.

Foam Replacement (Optional): Foam replacement is optional and its completion time can vary on the shape and size of the seat. Will typically take 1 to 2 hours to complete if a non complicated, flat cushion, or 2-3 hours if it has many curves.

Summary: Reupholstery without foam replacement of a single, not complicated unit of boat seating usually takes up to four to five hours. Custom and Luxury Upholstery can take from four to eight hours longer due to custom pleating patterns, piping installation, and foam replacement. The above completion times are merely estimates based on our work experience. Identical completion times are not guaranteed, though we will strive our best to provide both quality and efficiency.

Do you offer disassembly/reassembly services?

Experiencing difficulty disassembling your boat upholstery? We have you covered! Our employees are professionals and are extremely efficient at what they do. Uninstallation and reinstallation services have a flat rate of $80/hour from the moment we arrive on the boat and begin disassembly/reassembly. This service provides two professionals who disassemble/reassemble for you! Additionally, travel fees of $40/hour may be incurred for travel times above two hours in one direction, for both traveling to you and back.

Can I bring my boat to you?

Sadly, not at this time. Our Hallandale Beach office does not currently have available parking for boats.
